Rex poses with the Greta Scrambler, aka "The Egg". Rex is totally obsessed with this toy, and we have to stop him playing with it at about the point you see him at in this photograph, as he becomes overheated and exhausted. He only rests for as long as you make him, though, and then it's back to the toy until Rex is told to come inside. He can't bring the Egg into the house because it's hard enough to break windows if it gets tossed into one by an overly enthusiastic BC, but even after 2 years, Rex still tries to bring it with him every single time he comes inside. He's obviously an optimist :-).
