transpixel Jasmine, aka Jazzie-Jaz, is Angie's dog. Jazzie is mostly Collie, but judging from her spotted tongue, it's likely she has some Chow Chow in her, too. Jazzie became part of our family on Christmas day, 1996, bringing tears to Angie's eyes and the kind of love to her heart that only a lifetime friend can bring. transpixel

transpixel Rob, Angie and Jazzie Jazz (along with my lost dog, Baby, the beautiful Golden Retriever mix you can see in the background) enjoy a warm summer day at my friend Mary's house near Estacada, Oregon. Jasmine was still a pup in this photo, Angie was about 11 or 12, and Rob was 7 or 8. Time passes, kiddos and dogs grow up, but good friendships are forever, and visiting Mary is still one of our favorite pastimes. transpixel

transpixel Angie, Jazz and a kitten pose with happy faces for the camera. Angie was about 13 in this photo, and Jazzie was about 2. The kitten was one of Regina's, and found a good home with a family friend. transpixel

transpixel Angie, dressed up in one of her more interesting hats and totally unnecessary glasses, slathers a very patient Jazzie with kisses. transpixel

transpixel Jazzie couldn't look scary if she tried, but Angie insisted on dressing Jazz's neck with this big, spikey collar, anyway. The only thing scary about Jazz after that was trying to hang on to her collar if we needed to put a leash on her. I was truly glad when that collar finally wore out! transpixel

transpixel A simple photo of Jasmine, showing just what a pretty dog she is, even though she's a "big" girl. She's sweet, too, at least she is around everyone except Hope, whom she despises. transpixel

transpixel Here is Jazzie-Jazz, looking rather like one of those "The Dog" photos (well, maybe not enough "nose" to qualify :-).... She's a happy dog, and I like this photo of her smiling face. transpixel

transpixel Jasmine, her person, Angie (my daughter) and I went for a walk down the Springwater Corridor near our home one sunny day. They took a moment to allow me to photograph them. Here's the first one of the goofy pair. transpixel

transpixel And here's the second photo :-). transpixel
