Hope and Adam pose amidst rhododendrons in front of what I believe is the Cascade Locks Historical Museum. There's not a lot of commerce in tiny Cascade Locks these days, but it has been gifted with more than its share of spectacular natural beauty, some of which can be seen in this photo. Unfortunately, the local Native American Indian tribe has been granted permission to construct a casino in the area. The charm of this tiny community will be lost forever, and the traffic along I-84 will be altered for the worse.
